Worker Power Campaign
Alabama Arise launched the Worker Power Campaign to grow the strength and reach of the labor movement across Alabama. We support workers fighting for dignity on the job. We push for pro-worker policies. And we connect labor struggles to community organizing, education and real change. Economic justice requires empowering working people, and this campaign seeks to build bridges to unite everyday people around our common interests.
Arise believes a stronger labor movement means a better Alabama for everyone — for union members, students, parents, small businesses and neighbors in every part of the state. Working people drive our economy. By empowering workers to join together in seeking better pay and working conditions, unions help reduce poverty and advance dignity, equity and justice for all Alabamians.

WHY NOW?
From organizing campaigns at Amazon to auto manufacturing facilities, Alabama is at the center of a national fight for workers’ rights. But some corporations and politicians are doing everything they can to stop us. That’s why we’re building something bigger: a movement rooted in solidarity, strategy and people power. By empowering workers to win better wages, better benefits and safer working conditions, labor unions are a key tool to reduce poverty and bring economic security to working families.
