Join us to share your vision for Alabama’s future at the Huntsville People’s Town Hall! The event, hosted by Northeast Organizer Adam Keller, will be held from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the Huntsville-Madison County Downtown Public Library auditorium.
This event will be an opportunity for Arise members and members of the public in north Alabama to gather and share concerns, ideas and questions about the state policies that impact our lives. With a focus on those marginalized by poverty, we will share information about Alabama Arise and our priorities and preview some key issues. Then we will have breakout group listening sessions.
Breakout groups will focus on:
- Worker policy
- Criminal justice reform
- Health care
- Other statewide policy issues
We’ll reconvene and report back from the breakout groups, saving room for parting thoughts on how we can continue to build a better Alabama for all. Light refreshments will be provided.
