Please note: The Annual Meeting is for individual members and member groups of Arise. If you are not already a member, we hope you’ll join today by giving a gift of any amount. If you join by Aug. 29, you will be eligible to vote on our 2025 legislative priorities! Individual members who contribute between July 1, 2023, and Aug. 29, 2024, will be eligible to vote on our 2025 legislative priorities.
We will be using the online cumulative voting system ElectionBuddy to cast votes. Voting will open after the Annual Meeting and continue until 11:59 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024.
We didn’t receive any new proposed legislative priorities to add to our agenda, so the voting process will look a little different this year. We will send members and member group representatives an electronic ballot to affirm our current legislative agenda. We’ll also ask them to rank the individual strategies under each issue that they would like to see Arise prioritize in our collective advocacy. Member groups may designate up to six representatives to vote. The deadline to designate those representatives is Sept. 20.
If you’re part of a member group and would like more information about voting, please email organizing director Presdelane Harris at pres@alarise.org.
